Core French Language
The Core French Language program is available for those students in grades 1-8 who choose French as a second language choice. Basic language skills are taught using instruction, games, conversation and written work. A successful pilot and introduction on the AIMS program in French grades 1-3 was held in 2006-07. The prorgram will continue into the 2008-09 school year.
Tlicho Language
The Tlicho Language program offers instruction to all students in grades 1-8 that choose to learn more about the Dene culture. Although the language aspect is a focus, students learn about the traditional Dene culture through stories, activities, games and written work related to Tlicho tradition. Students also participate in outdoor activities as part of the program.
