While “outbreak” may sound scary, in a school setting it means that two or more people developed COVID-19 within a 14-day period. Therefore, one person got COVID-19 from another

person at school or during school activities. An outbreak doesn’t mean schools need to close. It does mean public health is keeping on close eye on things though.
