Out-of-School Care Program

Yellowknife Catholic Schools offers a welcoming, diverse, and inclusive Out-of-School Care (OSC) program for students attending:

  • Weledeh Catholic School

  • École St. Joseph School

The program is available for Junior Kindergarten students, with limited spaces available for older grades.

Program Hours

  • Monday to Wednesday & Friday: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM

  • Thursday: 12:20 PM – 5:30 PM

  • STIP/PD Days: Day camps available

Eligibility Criteria

Students must:

  • Be enrolled at École St. Joseph School or Weledeh Catholic School during the school year of application

  • Be fully toilet-trained and able to use the washroom independently

2026–2027 Registration Information

Registration for the 2026–2027 OSC Program is now underway.

Who Can Register Now

  • Junior Kindergarten families

  • Families currently enrolled in the OSC program

New Registrations

  • Opens April 1 at 8:00 AM

  • First-come, first-served

  • No early registrations accepted

How to Apply:

Your package must include:
✔ Completed Registration Form
✔ Payment Agreement
✔ Copy of your child’s immunization records
✔ Emergency contact (must be someone other than a parent/guardian who can be reached if needed)

OSC Registration and Information

📌 Important: 
Registration does not guarantee acceptance, as spaces are limited. Placements will be confirmed after reviewing enrollment numbers, available space, and Junior Kindergarten priority. Confirmation emails will be sent by April 30th.
