2025 Charitable Donations

At the November Board Meeting, the YCS Board presented over $13,000 in charitable donations to four local charities. These donations were raised from our staff from July 1st, 2024 to June 30th, 2025. Donations were made to the Diocese of Mackenzie-Fort Smith, Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, Salvation Army, and Inclusion NWT.

Each year, YCS staff are given the option to make charitable donations directly from their payroll. These donations allow them to participate in Casual Fridays, which means they can wear jeans on Fridays. They select both the amount they wish to donate and the organization they would like to support.
