Catholic Education Week 2026

This week, Yellowknife Catholic Schools joins Catholic school communities across the country in celebrating the value and impact of Catholic education. We are proud to foster learning environments where students are encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, and personally, while living out the values of faith, compassion, service, and community.

As part of this week’s celebrations, Blue Shirt Day will take place on Thursday, May 14. Students, staff, families, and community members are encouraged to wear blue in recognition and celebration of Catholic education.

We also invite our community to join us for a Catholic Education Week Mass on Saturday, May 16 at 5:00 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Parish.
