RILE Staffing Announcement

Yellowknife Catholic Schools is pleased to announce that Betsy Lucko will be stepping into the role of Regional Indigenous Languages & Education Coordinator (RILE), beginning in the 2026–2027 school year.

In this role, Betsy will support the revitalization and strengthening of Indigenous language learning across the district. Based out of Weledeh Catholic School, she will work closely with staff, students, and families to foster meaningful connections to culture, community, and land while strengthening language learning across all schools.
